Fitness Bootcamp Wichita!

Hello all, short blog today I just wanted to let everyone know that I just signed up for my 2nd session with Edgar this morning! I am super excited to see what I can push my body to do by the end of this six week period as well! I am hoping by the end of this six weeks I can get myself to jog more than I walk and to hopefully double my push ups from the last session. I am also going to try and go 5 days per week vs 3 to really get myself "in the best shape of my life".
I am also excited that some good friends of mine are starting this journey with me as well. I hope that they reach the goals that they have for them selves and I will help in anyway that I can! Even if that means bringing them some Tylenol after a Saturday session!
On another note I dont think I give my husband, Jason, enough credit for everything that he does for me. he works a differnt schedule everyday and seems to find the time to have the house clean for me everyday. Without him I KNOW that I would not be able to focus on my job as much as I try to do and the kids would suffer more than I should admit. Thank you Jason for being so supportive of me and my dreams!

Weekend Wrapup!

Wow another Williams weekend has been put to rest! I honestly feel like I did a lot of nothing plus a little to much all at one time! I did not clean I did not do laundry but I did watch all my shows that have been sitting on my DVR for way to long! Now that what I call productive!

Friday night was girls night the boys got to got to church and hang out with some friends for a couple of hours while Emily and I literally played in the "girls toys" in Wal-Mart for WAY TO LONG! I told her that she could buy one toy and for some reason she really wanted to find a PINK CAMERA....I was worried on how much that was going to cost me...whew only $9.95 a lot better than I expected.

We left there and I just cuddled for a couple of hours and I read until it was time to go get the boys from church and they were wiped out! Dylan fell asleep in the car on the drive home!

Saturday I got up at 6:00 went to the boot camp evaluations. Okay guys I will let you in on a little secret I lost my initial evaluation sheet but I do remember a few items that I wanted to improve on!

Five weeks ago I ran/walked/jogged the 1/2 mile in 7 minutes and 34 seconds this time I did it in 5 minutes and 13 seconds! GREAT IMPROVEMENT FOR ME!!!

Five weeks ago I did 4 push ups this time I did 23 push ups! WHAT!! Those were my 2 big ones I only did 3 more sit ups from last time and overall I don't know if I lost any inches on my body since I lost my paper! Clearly I can tell that I am really getting stronger! I am getting ready to sign up for another 6 week session this week!

Saturday afternoon I took the kids to a bowling birthday party! They had a blast bowling, eating pizza and cake they were wiped and I think 2 out of the 2 feel asleep! I pretty much dropped them off with dad when I got home and left with my sister Jessica to go to a "Slumber Party".

It was at my cousins house and it was fun meeting all of her Yoga people! I wish I had even half the flexibility that those people have! Maybe that will be my next goal after I get a little bit more stronger!

Sunday was pretty much a lazy day I did not get the kids ready to go to church I figured I would just let them run around in undies and lay around and do a bunch of nothing for awhile. That worked but around 2 I started getting them ready since we were going to the circus that night!

We went to the Shrine Circus with the my family and we had a really good time. I spent way to much on food and junk that will be lost within a few days but it is always fun to be able to do something special with them! Needless to say I was wiped when I got home and Jason pretty much put all the kids to bed gave Dylan his nighttime meds and I laid on the bed next to him and CRASHED!

On another note!!! I will post some pics on the website I just tend to type this from my work computer and all of my pics are saved on my laptop!

Shrine Circus Parade! Mom of the YEAR!

So the circus is coming to town and I am planning on taking the crew to watch all the amazing feats of amazement on Sunday afternoon. I am very lucky that I have a family that is so close so I am also going with my sister, her husband and my niece Natalie, my brother Dominic, his girlfriend Audrey and her son Jayden. I am excited for such a big group of us are going together. They always help me with the kids! It is hard to take 3 kids anywhere when they never have to go potty at the same time!

Anyway last night we went to the Delano district since I heard on the radio that they were doing a real live the circus is coming to town parade. The kid all seemed to have a good time a few times I did pick on Dylan and told him to run and join the circus this was his only chance. His response was "mom I can't dad told me that I needed to stay at home until I am 18." That cracked me up! I was completely blown away when we got home after dinner last night and Dylan came running into my room when he was supposed to be in bed already and gave me a huge hug and kiss and told me that that was the best time ever and he cannot believe that the Elephants were just wandering around the streets! I can honestly say there are very few moments in my mom life that I have felt like I did a good job and that made me aware that sometimes I am a good mom!

AWESOME DAY!

Bathrooms and Bootcamp

I am super excited I finally got Jason to break and buy the tile for our Master bathroom. Anyone that knows us knows that we have not had out master bath for over a year now. I miss having that privacy that you get by having my own bathroom. I think the process has taken so long since I did make less last year that I had in the last few years and that money allotted for the remodel went to other items (IE BILLS). I have also found out that Jason is ONLY drawn to the tile that costs $4.20 for a 6X6 tile. I am perfectly okay with the 12X12 for .77! I finally won that debate and he broke and bought all that we should need last night and I was pretty happy walking out of there since I know that is one big step in the right direction!

He had a really nice night since we were up North we took the kids to Hog Wild Pit BBQ. I kind of wanted Smash Burger a little bit more (since I have never eaten there and rumor is that they are going to open a location in Derby) but it was still delicious! We got home around 7 and it was time for homework and getting the kids ready for bed.

I woke up this morning at my NEW normal time of 5:01 am and headed off to boot camp. I am pumped since it was pretty nice out I think about 56 and I knew that meant we were outside. I have discovered that I am actually starting to see a change in my body, mostly my arms that I have never seen before. I am one of those skinny girls that 1. cannot run to save her life I would be the girl that trips and falls and dies in the movies and 2. I can only move furniture by pushing with my legs and pushing against a wall. I am weak and I know! Boot camp has kicked my butt but I am starting to walk out of there every morning (at 6:30) and am actually ready to start my day. The first couple of weeks I thought I was going to die and normally needed a nap right afterward!

If anyone wants more info I think the next training class starts on April 25! They have classes going pretty much all day from 5:30 am to 5:30 pm! http://www.fitnessbootcampwichita.com/

Easter Weekend!

Wow what a weekend we had!
The kids got to spend the night on Friday night with their Grandma Sherry (my mom) this was so Jason and I could attend a birthday party for a friend and then since we both needed to wake up early the next day we could just pick them up after the hike.
The party was fun and that group just cracks me up. I tried to teach them my families favorite game of Mafia! I was glad when Wendy took over and was narrator so I could play the game instead of just conducting the actions (I get a little to excited)!
Saturday morning the alarm was set for 7:01 am (I don't like to wake up to even numbers)! Jason and I rushed out of the house to go the Pawnee Prairie( I think that was the name) and go on the 8 mile nature hike with my boot camp class! I was a little timid by it but I was ready for the challenge! It had rained a little over night so the ground was very wet (I refuse to say it was moist like the lady behind me kept saying since that word grosses me out). Lucky for us since the ground was a little wet in most places it was to squishy to to the whole hike so we ended up doing a 3.25 mile hike in about 1 hour and 9 minutes! I was pretty happy about that! I am not much a hiker but we did spot 8 deer while we were out and about and I also say it was a success since I did not fall once! YES!
Saturday midday was mainly spent cleaning the house getting it ready for the Easter party for my family. I love having everyone come over but I really hate cleaning my house for guests to just leave it so trashed! The kids got to color a ton of eggs and do an egg hunt as well! They all seemed to really enjoy the whole evening! I love having my family over talking about when we were little and the bad things we did to each other!
I forgot about the time that i told Dominic that I was the bully of our elementary school and he better watch his back going into Kindergarten! LOL! I am such a jerk sometimes!
Sunday was Easter, the morning started off with all the kids getting prettied up for Church. We are not attending Aviator Church in Derby and I am really loving it! I have always been an avid church goer but something about Joe Boyd's Sermons just catches me. He did a great job and I was moved to tears twice that morning!
After church we went to Jason's parents house and enjoyed a very nice lunch and the kids got to do an egg hunt inside since it was raining outside! After we left there we stopped by Jason's grandma house and pretty much we all took a nap. While Tanner and Emily were still sleeping Jason, Dylan and I snuck out and went to see Hannah Montana the movie.
Before I get a loser tag put on me for my next comment i really like her new song The Climb. When she sang it was cried again! GEEZ!
After we picked Tanner and Emily back up we pretty much went home and relaxed until it was everyone bed time!

Day one!

Hello, new blog world and hopefully new blog family!
My ultimate goal is to show that you can have both parents work full time and have a strong family unit. Yes 90% of the time our laundry is not done but who cares that is why God invented the Laudry Mat. Yes we own the fancy washer and dryer but I actually am pretty weird and enjoy taking 50 loads to the laundry mat once every couple of weeks and doing it all at one time. The only hard part about that is that no one wants to put all of it away again! Maybe we need a third income to pay someone to keep up with it and just use the washer and dryer downstairs. HIGHLY UNLIKELY! Okay now lets introduce the family!

Jason R Williams, is a customer service rep for Verizon Wireless. He has been with them since September 2008. he really enjoys his job and works within two minutes of work! CRAZY!
I am Jennifer C Williams, I am a mortgage broker at Top Mortgage Corporation and have been here almost 6 years in May! I enjoy what I do for a living and cannot imagine not coming here everyday!
We have been married for almost 6 years (June 21) is our anniversary. We have been together for a little over 9 years now. We have three great kids and we live in Derby Kansas. I was raised here in Derby and love the city that we live in! It is just growing more and more everyday! I remember when 90% of this town was farmland! Jason grew up in Mulvane which is just a little south!
Dylan Cole is the oldest he is 7 and a 1/2 and in the First grade at Derby Hills. He was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome in January of 2004. He was also just diagnosed with ADHD last month. He is a very artistic child that enjoys drawing and talking about Reptiles!
Tanner Ross is the middle guy is is 4 and he is attending Derby Hills as well he goes to their Early Childhood Program! He loves school, his teachers and his friends! I get to hear about their adventures everyday~ He is one of the kindest sweetest little boys you will ever meet!
Emily Faye is our "baby" she is 3! She is 100% spoiled and knows it! She is very much a tomboy and VERY much a princess all rolled into one little spunky thing! Some of the things she says to me makes me stop dead in my tracks and try not to laugh!
